English variations in ELT: A case of rural schools in North Kalimantan, Indonesia

چکیده
American and British English variations in Indonesia are mostly known society schools. However, the two variations, including others, have not been taught specifically This current case study discusses ELT (English language teaching) by involving senior high schools rural areas of North Kalimantan, Indonesia, viewed from students’ perspectives. There aims conducting this research, namely: (1) to identify perceptions used learning at (2) analyze their teachers. To collect data, questionnaires, interviews, document analysis were employed. interactive analytical model statistical formula Based on findings, it was found that is among students speak, teachers endorse several kinds students. In addition, still speak mixed English-Indonesian when explaining materials classes. It can be concluded Kalimantan endorsed (mainly English). Yet, how distinguish those use them conversations.
